  platform for its activities. Its first lecture of the year 2021 will take
  place on Zoom on March 17, 2:00 PM, and will be followed by a question 
 period.Speaker: Arthur Stefanski, Doctoral Candidate, Department of Near
  and Middle Eastern CivilizationsFrom 2015 to 2017, the Upper Greater Zab
  Archaeological Reconnaissance project surveyed 110 caves in Iraqi Kurdist
 an along the southern slopes of the Akre Massif, the Prt Range, the sout
 heastern slopes of the Pirat Mountains and the Harir Massif, as well as t
 he Qala Qasm Range and the Safin Massif. This lecture will present the res
 ults of this survey work, outlining the geography of the region and previ
 ous research in the area, and showcasing the most significant caves and t
