Biography

My research focuses on ancient Egyptian conceptions of language, especially as they are articulated in literary and religious texts. I approach these works primarily through traditional modes of literary analysis, while also drawing on Egyptian linguistics and grammar, particularly phonology, as an ancillary tool for understanding how literary meaning is shaped by linguistic form.
