Assistant Professors Lynn Welton and Oren Siegel have recently received the SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada) Insight Development Grant.
Professor Welton's research is entitled "A research tool for archaeological mobility reconstruction: developing a bioavailable strontium database and isoscape for central Anatolia (Türkiye)" and
Professor Siegel's research is entitled "U-2 Over Egypt: Using Cold War Aerial Photography for Remote Archaeological Survey".
The Insight Development Grants support new and regular scholars' research in its initial stages. The grants enable the development of new research questions and experimentation with new methods, theoretical approaches and/or ideas.
Congratulations to Professors Welton and Siegel on this accomplishment!
