Biography
I completed a PhD in Hebrew and Judaic Studies at the University of Toronto in 2018 and joined the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations as an assistant professor, teaching stream in 2021.
My dissertation was on gendered variation in speech in Biblical narrative, and I continue to research how variation in speech is used as a form of characterization and to show character development in the Hebrew Bible. I love teaching and especially enjoy sharing my love of Biblical Hebrew with students.
