Biography

Jadaon is a PhD student at the Department of Near & Middle Eastern Civilizations. He is broadly interested in all aspects of the earliest period of Islamic history with a specialized focus on the nexus between the historical Muhammad, the origin of Islam, and the composition of the Qur'an. He is a recipient of the SSHRC CGS-D for his doctoral research on the compositional history of the Qur'an.
