Biography

Originally from Saskatchewan, Katlin is a 3rd year Phd student in Egyptology. His research focuses on studying settlements in the Nile Delta from the Predynastic Period. Specifically, he incorporates data science, spatial analysis, settlement archaeology, and an ethnographic framework, to answer questions about Early State formation. He works as an RA with the CRANE project and excavates at Tell Lachish with the Austrian Academy of Sciences investigating Egyptian interactions in the Levant.
