Biography

His research focuses on social organization in the Nile Delta during the earliest part of the Early State Formation process. His work utilizes the ArcGIS software, spatial analysis, and anthropological hermeneutics to study the built environment of the Naqada I settlement site of Ma'adi. He presented new interpretations for the Ma'adi cemetery at the 2024 ARCE general meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. He is a recipient of the 2024 SSHRC fellowship, former research assistant for the CRANE project, member of the Durham University and EES work at Sais under Dr. Penelope Wilson. Currently, he is an archaeologist with Stantec   consulting with indigenous communities across British Columbia and Canada to mitigate destruction to pre-contact environments and material culture.
