Biography

Ramzi is finishing his dissertation on the Sufi theological thought and hermeneutics of Amir Abd ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jazāʾirī (d. 1883). His research is mainly oriented towards Sufi mystical theology and Qur'anic hermeneutics in the post-classical era. He was the recipient of SSHRC Graduate Scholarship (Master's Award) for his major research project on al-Jazāʾirī 's mystical thought.
