Biography

Samar is currently a PhD Candidate at NMC. She specializes in the study of Modern Middle East and Arab history. She has been previously the recipient of both FAST fellowship and OGS. She also teaches the history of the modern Middle East, Arab Modern history, Islamic history, and Arabic language both at NMC and U of T tri-campus.
