Biography
Ted Good is interested in global philosophy and specializes in Zoroastrian philosophy in the the Sasanian period and in the Islamic world. The focus of his dissertation is the Zoroastrian philosophical text called the Dēnkard, which was cumulatively writing from the Sasanian period into the early Islamic period. He's also interested in the philosophies and religions of India, Greece, and Middle East more generally. Before pursuing his doctorate at the Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations department, he was in a couple Religion departments, and a philosophy department.
