The Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations invites applications for a three-year, contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) in the area of Egyptology with a focus on Ancient Egyptian Archaeology and Material Culture.
This appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, and the anticipated start date is July 1, 2023.
NMC is seeking a scholar who will contribute to its curriculum and programs in the fields of Egyptology, Ancient Near & Middle Eastern Civilizations, and Archaeology, with the demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Ancient Egyptian Archaeology, Material Culture, and Artifact Analysis. A commitment to collaborative and interdisciplinary research and teaching, involving research opportunities for students, is strongly desired.
