The Bonn Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies (BCDSS) at the University of Bonn in Germany offers two consecutive and research-oriented Master’s degree course starting again this coming winter semester of 2021. This may be of great potential interest to third-year and/or fourth-year undergraduates and, if applicable, other suitable students.
- The two-year program, ‘Dependency and Slavery Studies’, aims to provide students with a differentiated view of a range of phenomena and concepts of dependency and slavery across different cultural and historical contexts.
- The one-year program, ‘Slavery Studies’, covers state-of-the-art slavery research and goes beyond these by introducing the broader perspective of strong asymmetrical dependencies.
For this coming winter term, the final application period has just started and will end on August 30, 2021.
