Professor Gözde Mercan has recently received the “Women in Cognitive Science Networking Award for Junior Scientists”, awarded by the Psychonomic Society, with the support of the American Psychological Association. Professor Mercan will be presenting a poster entitled, "Does L2 English Influence the Online Processing of Complex Sentences in L1 Turkish in Proficient Bilinguals?", at the upcoming 61st Annual Meeting of the Psychonomic Society.
